 From humble listener to one of the hottest names around the 315. Erik Bennett, known better for his work as DJ Execution, has quickly made a name for himself in the community by taking on a style of DJing that Syracuse natives have come to love over the years. While he's only been on the scene for about 2 years his originality and work ethic have rivaled DJ's who've used blends, a style favored in the area to grow a faster follow due to the demand for the specific sound; however Erik has chosen to take a different approach.

 The third installment of his "Execution Style'' mixtape series starts off with a co-sign from DJ Holiday further validating the young DJ's credentials; and what makes this even more special is that unlike most DJ's from the Syracuse area,  Execution has chosen to stray away from blends, a mixing style made popular by DJ Cee Ellis locally almost a decade ago and imitated by others in the area. Needless to say the mix was loaded with hits featuring some of the hottest tracks from various artists and and would quickly generated around 15k streams since it's release late 2018.

Not long after the release of "Execution Style III" the 24 year old producer was picked up by another DJ under PlayNextUp Radio and went on to land his own show rightfully named Execution Style Radio airing every Wednesday at 8PM. As of late he's been working with his crew AMM/Skuddy Gang which includes artist BenjiHavinIt who's record "Betrayal" has done well since it's release early 2019. J'O is another affiliate of this movement, his single "Against Me" sends a message to the opposition while shining light on the artist's mindset on those outside of his circle as well as his lifestyle.


While it's clear Execution has an ear for what's hot in the game, the future seems to have no limit for himself and his camp. We're greatly anticipating his debut album currently titled "No Co-Sign" assuming it'll have plenty guest features from some of the best artists within his reach of contact. Erik Bennett is quickly building an empire and executing his plans to perfection.

Jay Gxld "P.S."

Following up his recent "Lxve Gxld" release, Jay Gxld returns with " P.S. ". The 5 track EP does nothing but prove that the 20 year old 404 Faction star has a lot left in the tank. Jay was quick to mention track 4 "Reflections" as one of his personal favorite tracks on the project. "its a direct reflection of my personality, the person behind the image of Jay Gxld". After cosigns from WunLuv's cover artist QVNT as well as the boss himself Isaiah Jordan, Jay has been held to a very high standard and continues to prove himself as an artist. Although Jay has only been recording music since his senior year of high school, the young artist has a deep background in music including trumpet skills dating 10 years back.
